Troubleshooting Media Upload Issues
When you’re uploading media, whether it be a photo, video, or file, having trouble can be frustrating. When running into issues, you can try the troubleshooting steps below:
- Google Chrome - Version 72 (January 2019) or later
- Mozilla Firefox - Version 66 (March 2019) or later
If you’re still having issues, try an alternate computer if you have one available to you. For example, if you’re having trouble uploading media on mobile, try a desktop or laptop computer.
Next, make sure the file type you’re attempting to submit is the correct file type. Video uploads should be file types such as .mp4, .mov, .avi etc. Whereas photo uploads should be .jpg, .png, .gif etc. File types such as zip files, pdfs, word documents and Power Points should always be submitted using the file submission option only.
Try to be patient during the upload process, especially on a slower network connection. The larger the file size, the longer it will take to upload (For example: A 1 minute HD video can exceed 100mb in size alone).
